A gun safety seminar aims to educate individuals on safe gun handling practices, including the four cardinal rules of gun safety: always keep the gun pointed in a safe direction, always keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot, always keep the gun unloaded until ready to use, and always be sure of your target. The seminar also covers firearm operation, storage, and maintenance.
