Overview:
This comprehensive 18-hour course is mandatory for those applying for or renewing a concealed carry permit in New York State, following the updated requirements under the 2022 CCIA legislation. It combines classroom instruction with live-fire training and legal education.

Course Content:
Topics include firearms safety, use-of-force laws, situational awareness, conflict avoidance, and the ethical and legal responsibilities of carrying a firearm. The course also covers safe firearm storage, child access prevention, and proper interactions with law enforcement while armed. The live-fire portion reinforces marksmanship, safe handling, and qualification with your carry firearm.

Outcome:
